"The photography series 'Automaton' emerged amid a global pandemic when the world came to a standstill. 'Automaton' is a docu-fiction series of photographs that documents people contemplating what it would be like to view themselves as machines. People performed inside the studio, using body gestures and whatever they found in the atelier. They responded to the question with a language existing between words and gestures."
